Who We Are

Per Madsen Design is a small crafts-oriented company dedicated to making high quality, modular storage furniture for all audio/video recording media, equipment and more.

We introduced the Original RACKITTM™ System with its Modular Stackable Record Rack in 1984, soon followed by stackable tape and disk storage units. Later we added the larger System 19 with its versatile component racks and drawer units with ball bearing slides.

The RACKIT Systems has attracted a loyal following of discriminating customers from both the high-end audiophile and the professional audio/video communities. Beautifully constructed from fine hardwoods, RACKIT units are sturdy and functional.
